Medieval to Post-medieval double-oval buckle
Description
English: A copper-alloy double-oval buckle of late Medieval to early post-Medieval date.

Each side of the symmetrical frame is roughly D-shaped and has upper surfaces which slope downwards and outwards. The central axis bar is of semi-circular section and the pin is missing.

The buckle is heavily corroded. It measures 26.9mm long, 22.3mm wide and 2.5mm thick. The weight is 3.1g.
