Medieval tinned lyre-shaped buckle
Description
English: Incomplete Medieval tinned lyre-shaped buckle, trapezoidal socket with remains of two copper alloy rivets, constricted junction perforated for missing pin and stump of missing frame. Width at attachment edge 26mm. Gap for belt 3mm wide. Inscribed with slipped trefoil. Late 14th/early 15th century. Fingerlin 165, no.286.
