Description |
English: A medieval cast copper alloy oval spectacle framed buckle, pin and strap end are present. Strap bar is offset, the pin bar separates the two ovals. The smaller oval holds the strap end, the larger oval has a lip where the pin would rest. The frame curves inwards where it meets the pin bar, the ends of the pin par protrude outwards from the frame by 1.5mm. The strap end is decorated with a criss-cross pattern with two rivet holes at one end, both rivets are present. Strap end is one sheet folded around the buckle. |
