Medieval single loop buckle
Description
English:

An incomplete cast copper alloy single looped buckle frame of medieval date. The buckle is D-shaped with a single collared knop projecting from the outer curved edge. The strap bar is narrowed and offset, the pin is missing. The buckle is 23.5mm long, 14.15mm wide, 3.3mm thick and weighs 1.7g.

A parallel can be seen in Whitehead, p21, no.85 which is dated to circa 1250 - 1400.
