Medieval single loop buckle
Description
English:

Post-Medieval cast copper alloy single-loop sub-rectangular buckle with concave sides, rounded front with single lobed knop and narrowed and recessed strap bar, c.1500-1650. Frame bevelled on the underside. The pin is missing. See Whitehead 1996 ('Buckles 1250-1800', Greenlight) p.28, no.145 for a parallel.

Length 28.1mm, width 23.95mm, thickness 2.95mm, weight 4.2g.
