Medieval single loop buckle
Description
English: Copper alloy single loop buckle dating to the medieval period. The buckle has a D shaped frame; the outer edge is slightly indented to give a kidney shape. The pin-bar is offset and narrowed and there is a moulded ridge at either edge of the pin-bar. The frame has a notched lip pin rest on the outer edge. The buckle measures 19.3mm in length, 13.63mm in width, 4.23mm in thickness and weighs 1.89g.
