Title
Medieval silver-gilt figurine
Description
English: Silver-gilt figurine of a standing angel. The dress is pleated; the inside of the wings hatched and the figurine has shoulder length hair. There is damage to the feet and hands of the angel. The item has been repaired recently and it appears that the object may have been found in two or more pieces. The reverse of the figurine is plain and the lower half reverse is flat. This object has broken from another object, perhaps a terminal. It is hard to place and has no obvious parallel. Length: 21.47mm, width: 14.15mm, thickness: 4.76mm, weight: 2.74g.

Report by Janina Parol, Lloyd de Beer and Dora Thornton, British Museum.
