Medieval or post medieval spectacle buckle fragment
Description
English: Medieval or post medieval buckle; fragment of cast copper alloy spectacle buckle frame dating from the period 1350-1650. The buckle is very large and would have had two symmetrical long, oval loops with a pin bar down the centre. This fragment consists of most of one loop with one joint and the start of the second loop. The pin bar is missing.

Length 57.3mm, width 42.7mm, thickness 2.1mm, weight 9.14g
