Title |
Medieval jetton |
||
Description |
English: Medieval copper-alloy 14th-century jetton attributed to Mathilde de Gueldres (r. 1371-1379 AD), ruler of the Duchy of Guelders in the Low Countries. The jetton can be classified as a variant of Mitchiner 790 and of 791 as it has a slightly different marginal inscription to both. The jetton has a central punch on the obverse face. |
