Medieval incomplete oval spectacle buckle
Description
English: Incomplete cast copper alloy double-loop, oval spectacle buckle frame, missing its pin and most of one loop. The pin bar is narrowed and 2.5 mm in thickness. The frame has a flat base and a convex profile in cross-section.

Whitehead (1996) illustrates a similar example on page 53, Plate No. 296, which is dated from 1350 to 1650.

Read (1988) illustrates a similar example on page 110, No.668, which is dated from 1485 to 1600.
