English: Medieval houses in Bailgate The stone frontage and gothic doors of 39 and 40 Bailgate are two of the three medieval houses known as 'the three little tenements'. Most likely 14th century houses, they were described as "near ruinous" in 1563 and have undergone numerous changes in the last 650 years. |
