Title
Medieval finger ring
Description
English: A Medieval finger-ring, formed of a flat band decorated with crosses set into three square panels and two grooved rectangles. The central panel is the largest, and the cross that it contains is a saltire with a stroke across each terminal, forming four miniature crosses. The design retains much of its niello, a characteristic inlay for rings of this type.

The finger-ring is silver, and dates from the late twelfth century.
