Title
Medieval copper alloy ring brooch
Description
English: Medieval copper alloy ring brooch, 23mm in diameter, 4mm thick with a weight of 2.36grams. The brooch is in fair condition but missing part of its pin. It is circular in form and triangular in cross section, consisting of an openwork loop with a bevelled lower surface. The brooch has six raised, evenly spaced, circular settings for stones or enamel, which are now empty. There is a circular hole in the loop which houses part of a circular sectioned pin whose end is folded over to secure it in place.
