Medieval copper alloy D-shaped buckle with loose pin
Description
English: Medieval buckle; Dated c.1250-1500; Copper alloy D-shaped buckle with pin. Outer edge is rounded and has three incised lines at the point where the pin hits it. Pin bar is narrow and flattened. Pin is broad and tapered with an incised line running down its length. Pin is attached by being bent round the pin bar. It is very loose;

Length (back of pin bar to front of outer edge) 14.3mm, width 16.2mm, thickness 2.3mm, weight 1.83g.
