Description
English: A damaged Medieval silver penny of Henry 5th circa AD 1413-22 struck at York. The obverse has a crowned facing bust with a trefoil to the right of the crown. There is a leaf / dished area on his breast. The inscription has double saltire word stops and reads ( )NRICUS x REX) ( ) The reverse has a long cross with three pellets in each quarter and in the centre a quarterfoil and pellet within. The reverse inscription is CIVI TASx E ( ) RACI there is a double saltire stop after TAS.
