Medieval coin: penny of Edward II
Description
English: A medieval silver penny of Edward II (1307-1327) dating from 1310-1314.

Class 11d, as North (1991: 36), no. 1062/2. Minted at Canterbury.

There is a slender crack extending from the ten o'clock position to the centre of the coin, and it has been bent post depositionally.

Measurements: 17.8mm diameter, 1.2 mm thick, weight 0.89g
