Description
English: A medieval silver cut halfpenny of David I of Scotland (1124-53) in the name of Stephen (1135-54), 'Watford type' (Mack 277; North 874), mint: Carlisle, moneyer: Wilealme. Ref: Mack 1966: 98; North 1994: 203. See also Mattinson and Cherry 2013: 104-5 (Scottish coin group b).

The coin was poorly struck on a slightly irregular flan.
