Medieval coin: half groat of Henry VI
Description
English: An incomplete medieval silver halfgroat of Henry VI (AD 1422-1461), dating to AD 1422-1427.

Annulet issue. Minted at Calais. As North (1991: 74) no. 1429.

The coin has been cut and may be intended to act as a single penny, but the line of the cut does not follow that of the long cross which divides the legend.

Measurements: 20.2mm diameter, 0.87mm thick, weight 0.85g
