Medieval candlestick
Description
English: An irregular fragment of copper alloy, possibly the moulded decoration from a medieval candlestick dated to the period 1250-1450 AD. The fragment is too small to be more precise. It is irregular in plan and decoration with a centrally swollen element with a double circumferential band above and below the swelling. The fragment has n abraded and corroded surface patina and most edges are worn.

The fragment measures 22.3mm length, 10.9mm width is 2.9mm thick and weighs 2.13 grams
