Medival bull of Pope Urban VI
Description
English: Medieval cast lead alloy papal bulla of Pope Urban VI, 1378-1389. One side bears the inscription URB-ANUS-PP VI with two birds with spread wings below all within a beaded border. The other side bears the inscription SPA SPE (for St Paul and St Peter) with the heads of the two sints below each within a beaded border. Cream / light grey patina. Diameter 38.4mm, thickness 6.6mm, weight 65.65g.
