Medieval buckle
Description
English: An incomplete copper alloy medieval double loop buckle dating to c. AD 1350- 1450, missing the smaller loop. The bigger loop is oval, with the outside bar slightly wider. The pin bar is rectangular is cross section,the pin is now missing. On the opposite side of the pin bar the frame projects, and ends in a worn break. The buckle has a dark green brown patina and is worn. It measures 33.2mm in length, 31.2mm in width, and weighs 4.09g.
