Medieval buckle: Single loop buckle
Description
English: A small cast copper alloy single loop D-shaped buckle dating from the medieval period. The buckle is plain and undecorated, with a recessed and off-set, but integrally cast, strap bar. This type of buckle dates from c. AD 1250-1450.
