Description
English: A complete copper alloy medieval annular brooch, dating to c. AD 1270-1350. The frame of the brooch is a thin circular piece of copper alloy, with a raised inside and outside edge. The inside of the frame is higher than that the outside. On the inside edge is a circular perforation, the copper alloy wire pin is looped around this. There is no decoration on the brooch, which has a dark brown patina with patches of light green. It measures 28.1mm in length, 27.2mm in width, and weighs 1.63g.

A similar brooch can be seen in Egan and Pritchard 1991, page 251 number 1316.
