English: A circular fragment of a Medieval iron barrel padlock, consisting of the end plate containing fragments of two or three rectangular-sectioned spring strips. It measures 24.95x25.85mm and weighs 15.79g.
A complete example with 'empty' perforations can be found illustrated in Egan (1998, 97; no. 251). 13th-15th century in date. |
