English:

A medieval copper alloy bar-mount from a belt with central and terminal lobes. The two terminal lobes are solid, each with a surviving separate copper alloy rivet, which extend out to the reverse. The central lobe is slightly concave to the reverse and domed to the front, with a band of decoration. The decoration comprises four horizontal grooves. Similarly decorated bar-mounts with central and terminal lobes from London date to the 13th and 14th century (Egan & Pritchard 1991 nos.1154-1162).

The mount is 15.4mm in length, 8.45mm wide, 5.55mm thick and weighs 1.34 grams.
