Medieval Pottery Sherds
Description
English: Two Medieval pottery sherds - everted rims - from different cooking vessels. On sherd is from a wheelmade sandy ware vessel. The rim is angular with two thumb impressions. The fabric is pale grey throughout. The second sherd is from a hand made vessel and the rim is clubbed with one thumb impression. The fabric has ill-sorted shelly, quartz, and flint inclusions and has a red grey exterior with grey interior. Dimensions: 105.92g
