Medieval Pottery Sherd
Description
English: A Medieval pottery base sherd from a jug (14th – 15th century). The base is flat with clear wheelmarks indicating that it is wheel-made. The sherd is an oxidised sandy ware with a sparse glaze. The surfaces, margins and core are orange red and the external surface has been slipped.
