Medieval Heraldic Harness Pendant
Description
English: Copper alloy heraldic,harness pendant. It is a shield shaped, pointed pendant with an integral suspension loop. The loop is set at a 90 degree angle to the shield and the top projects forward slightly. The front has traces of guilding however the surface is very corroded. There are traces of a void for enamelling with possibly the tail of a lion rampant. The back is undecorated. Dimensions: 29.75mm x 16mm x 4.39mm. Weight 2.85g
