Medieval D-shaped buckle
Description
English: Medieval copper alloy singl elooped buckle. The object is sub rectangular in form and section and consists of a circular sectioned strap bar from which emerges two curved rectangular sectioned arms. These terminate with a sub cuoboidal knop which sit either side of a circular sectioned bar which would have been covered with a sheet roller. The buckle matches No 96, p.22 in Whiteheads buckles.
