Medieval D-shaped buckle
Description
English: Cast copper alloy single-looped D-shaped buckle with narrowed pin bar, flush with the frame, and pin missing. The frame has a flat base and is plano-convex in section. Whitehead (1996) illustrates a similar example on page 18, No.40, which is dated to c.1250-1500.
