English: Silver Coin. Groat of Edward IV, (1461-1470), light coinage of 1464-1470, Coventry mint.

Obverse description: Facing bare shouldered bust with tall bifoliate crown within a nine arched tressure, possibly with lis on some cusps; a trefoil or to right sexfoil either side of neck, large letter C on breast, mintmark sun (28). Saltire punctuation

Obverse inscription: EDWARDx(---)GLxZxFRANC

Reverse description: Long cross, three pellets in each angle, inscription in two orders.

Reverse inscription: outer: POSVI/DEV[--]/DIVTO[--]; inner: CIVI/TAS/ COVE/TRE
