English: A complete and misshapen Medieval Continental imitation of a sterling silver penny issued by John, Count of Hainault (1280-1304). Initial mark: cross pattée.

Obverse: +I:COMES:hANONIE; Facing crockard bust with a chaplet of flowers and wedged drapery

Reverse: VAL/ENC/hEN/ENS; Long cross with three pellets in each quadrant

Diameter: 18.6mm. Weight: 1.36g. DA=12:9.
