Description
English: Incomplete medieval lead Papal Bulla, flat, half survives, broken along the perforation for the original attachment cord. Part of the pelleted border of the head of either St Peter or St Paul survives on the Obverse, re-used as a seal matrix by engraving the Reverse. Circular 41mm. 3mm thick. Weighs 17.20g. Probable elaborate quatrefoil. ]+ SIGIL' CECI[......... (Seal of (probably) Cecilia ?). Late 12th-13th century.
