Description |
English: Medieval cast copper alloy barrel padlock case. The case is cylindrical and hollow. One end is open the other has a central groove with a perforation at its base. The circular sectioned pin is attached by a rectangular sectioned arm with the projects at 90 degrees from one end of the case and has a small circular perforation. The internal mechanism is missing and the case has been deformed at one end. It has a dark grey patina with both dark green and pale green corrosion on the barrel. It is 31mm long and 24mm wide. The case has a diameter of 10.5mm. It weighs 7.9 grams. |
