English: Eight fragments of ceramic vessels of medieval date. Six of the fragments are body sherds from separate vessels and one is a rim fragment.

Sherd 1: A fragment of a wheel thrown ceramic vessel of medieval date. The fragment is a rim sherd with a gritty, hard mid grey fabric. Some small homogenous dull white inclusions are present, possibly dolomite. The exterior surface is coated in a mid green glaze. Probably York Green Glazed Ware
Dimensions; 47.8mm x 33.7mm x 6.1mm; weight: 11.6g.

Sherd 2: A fragment of a wheel thrown ceramic vessel of medieval date. The fragment is a rim sherd with a gritty, soft buff coloured fabric. Some small homogenous dull reddish-brown inclusions are present, possibly clay or mudstone. The interior and exterior surfaces are coated in a mid olive green glaze. Probably Brandsby Ware.
Dimensions; 47.2mm x 31.5mm x 12.5mm; weight: 25.4g.

Sherd 3: A fragment of a wheel thrown ceramic vessel of medieval date. The fragment is a body sherd with a smooth, hard buff coloured fabric. No inclusions are present though numerous oval voids can be seen suggesting the use of oolite or limestone. A Sandy Ware.

Sherd 4: A fragment of a wheel thrown ceramic vessel of medieval date. The fragment is a body sherd with a gritty, hard buff coloured fabric. Oval voids can be seen suggesting the use of oolite or limestone and small glistening inclusions are also present, possibly white mica. A Sandy Ware.

Sherd 5: A fragment of a wheel thrown ceramic vessel of medieval date. The fragment is a body sherd with a gritty, hard buff coloured fabric. Oval voids can be seen suggesting the use of oolite or limestone and small glistening inclusions are also present, possibly white mica. The exterior surface is coated in a mid green glaze. A Sandy Ware.

Sherd 6: A fragment of a wheel thrown ceramic vessel of medieval date. The fragment is a rim sherd with a gritty, soft buff coloured fabric. Some small homogenous dull brown inclusions are present, possibly grog. The exterior surface has a patch of mid olive green glaze. Probably Brandsby Ware.
