Title |
Medieval : Buckle pin |
||
Description |
English: A cast copper buckle pin, the rest of the buckle is missing.
The pin has a square section which tapers to a blunt point. An undecorated grip is located next to the loop. The loop is broken, the breaks are worn. The artefact is a light greyish-green colour. It probably dates from circa 1250 - 1500. Similar buckle pins can be seen in Egan and Pritchard, 1991, p115, Fig. 75. |
