English: Fragment of Medieval/Post Medieval ewer handle, thumb-rest comprising a thick (5mm) vertical shaped plate with obliquely addorsed twin acorn knops (21mm across) and perforation for hinge, traces of solder where lid missing. 32 x 25mm. Cf. Lewis 1987, fig.7. 15th-16th century.
