Medieval: Papal bulla of Pope John XXII
Description
English: A lead Papal Bulla issued under Pope John XXII, AD1316-1334 and originally attached to a Papal document. Part of the lower half is missing.

The obverse depicts the heads of St. Paul and St. Peter, with a sceptre between them. The two heads are each surrounded by a circle of pellets. The legend above the busts reads SPASPE.

The reverse reads: IOhA/NNES/PPXXII
