Title
Medical Diploma of Royal College of Surgeons Ireland Certificate
Description

This humble Tanglin Halt clinic opened its doors in 1981 and saw its last days in the Commonwealth locale in 2015. Started and owned by Member of Parliament, Lily Neo, this clinic is beloved by many not just because of its operations being rooted in the heartlands and withstanding the test of time, but because of Dr. Lily Neo’s compassion, patience, and the unique position she occupies as the only practising doctor in Parliament.

Dr. Neo ranks as the longest serving woman member of Parliament for over 22 years, and her clinic serves as an assembly spot for residents, with a majority from the lower-income group. Going beyond her duties as a general practitioner, Dr. Neo offers a listening ear to family or financial concerns.

Unfortunately, the clinic ceased operations in Tanglin Halt in 2015, ahead of the 2021 deadline to move out before the block gets demolished under the Selective En bloc Redevelopment Scheme (SERS). The clinic has since relocated and is now situated in Novena, where she shares a clinic-space in Royal Square Medical Suites with her husband, Ben Neo, who is a gynaecologist.
