DescriptionMedal Metropole Glasgow.jpg	English: This medal was presented by Arthur& Margaret (Madge) Jefferson, the father and mother of en:Stan Laurel, to the winner of The Metropole Cup for boat racing 6th Sept 1901. Stan's father managed this theater and Stan worked there a few years before he joined the Fred Karno troupe and left for America accompanied by Charlie Chaplin 1912
