English: The Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Companion (Military), breast badge (CB) on medal ribbon (pre 1917) gold Maltese Cross with eight points enamelled white, each point tipped with a small gold ball, and gold lions between the arms of the cross; at the centre of the cross a device comprising a rose, a thistle and shamrock issuing from a golden sceptre supporting three imperial crowns; encircled by a red enamel band with the motto TRIA JUNCTA IN UNO (three joined in one) in gold lettering; circle within two laurel branches in green enamel with a blue enamel scroll below with the motto ICH DIEN in gold suspension clasp- gold ring and straight bar; crimson ribbon; gold buckle at top of ribbon |
