Notes The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire - Member (Mil) (MBE) GV Captain John Cameron MBE (Mil) 1918-1977 Captain J Cameron served during WW2 on Fanning Island and in Nth Africa. He became a POW, escaping six times. Post WW2 he was employed as a regular soldier.
