Served- Fleet Air Arm- North Sea, Atlantic, Malta, Africa, Italy. DSC and Bar. Killed in an aircraft accident on 24 April 1944 while serving as Commanding Officer, 889 Naval Air Squadron attached to HMS Bherunda at the Royal Naval Air Station at Colombo.
