Royal Artillery silver medal; plain swivelling suspender; with ribbon obverse- crowned and draped head of Queen Victoria with legend- VICTORIA REGINA ET IMPERATRIX reverse- a scene of troops on the march with an elephant carrying a gun in the centre; around the top is the word AFGHANISTAN, and in the exurgue the dates- 1878-79-80 ribbon- green with crimson stripes on edges named on edge in italics- 6531 BOMBR. H. TRACEY. A-4TH. BDR. R.A.
