English: Queen's South Africa Medal 1899-1902 with four bars Medal awarded to Percy Clennell Fenwick, New Zealand Medical Corps. silver medal; four bars; plain straight swivelling suspender; with ribbon obverse- crowned and veiled head of Queen Victoria and legend VICTORIA REGINA ET IMPERATRIX reverse- Britannia with a flag in her left hand and holding out a laurel wreath in her right towards an advancing party of soldiers; in the background are two warships; below the wreath, in two lines- 1899-1900 in relief; around top- SOUTH AFRICA bars- CAPE COLONY - ORANGE FREE STATE - TRANSVAAL - SOUTH AFRICA 1901 ribbon- red with two dark blue stripes and a broad orange central stripe named on edge- Surg. Capt - P. C. FENWICK N.Z' land - M.R.
