English: Queen's South Africa Medal 1899-1902 with two bars Medal awarded to 1751 J Fletcher, Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Bars for Orange Free State and Cape Colony silver medal; two bars; plain straight swivelling suspender; with ribbon obverse- crowned and veiled head of Queen Victoria and legend VICTORIA REGINA ET IMPERATRIX reverse- Britannia with a flag in her left hand and holding out a laurel wreath in her right towards an advancing party of soldiers; in the background are two warships; below the wreath, in two lines- 1899-1900 in relief; around top- SOUTH AFRICA two bars- ORANGE FREE STATE - CAPE COLONY ribbon- red with two dark blue stripes and a broad orange central stripe named on edge- 1751 PTE J. FLETCHER. A. and S. HIGHRS-
