Patent Improved Ixk Distkibutor.—We have been much pleased with inspect-ing and witnessing the operation of Messrs. Sabbaton dc Spences Patent Ink Distribu-tor, in book printing, at the office of Mr.Dean, Frankfort street, in this city. This machine, represented by the annexedplates, stands at the opposite side of thepress to the workman, and receives its im-pulse from the rotary motion of the rounce,the shaft, A, of which is made long, passingto the end of the machine, where the pully, B,is fast; through the rim of this pully theend of the chord, C, is tied, and the otherend, passing between a projection of iron, D,and a spring, is fastened to the loose pully, E,on the shaft of a wooden roller, as representedin figs. 1 and 2.
