Description
Español: Mecanismo de visión en humanos (derecha) y en ratones (izquierda). En humanos, la información de ambos ojos se procesa forma separada hasta que alcanzan la corteza visual primaria (V1). Esta representación se corresponde con la dominancia ocular de las columnas. Si un ojo se mantiene cerrado durante el desarrollo, la dominancia de las columnas del ojo sano se expanden, mientras que las del ojo cerrado disminuirían.
