English: Measles cases reported in the United States, 1944-2007, represented as thousands of cases per year vs. year, with an inset 1983-2007 as cases vs. year. 1983 was chosen for the beginning of the inset graph as it represents the minimum reported cases until 1993, after the booster vaccine was added to the recommendations schedule. Data are from the US Centers for Disease Control.
