English: Meadows by the Dane Looking west towards the Twemlow viaduct in the distance.
Here the Dane Valley Way makes final approach to the A535 which the path follows (around some very pedestrian-unfriendly bends)for a few hundred yards. In the wet summer of 2007 the walker must deviate to the left, almost to the river, because a watercourse normally only present in winter cuts across this scene from the wet ground on the right past the oak tree in the centre left. |
